How To Use Twitter Lists
Twitter lists are a great way to prioritize your news feeds, keep track of the latest news and cut down the noise from your Twitter feed. You can group both the people that you follow on Twitter, and those that you don't.
Key things to note about Twitter Lists:
- Can have up to 20 lists
- 500 people in each lists
- Lists can be both public and private
- If you add someone to a public list they will be notified
- List names can be no longer than 25 characters
- List names cannot start with a number
- Create your own lists or subscribe to other people's lists

Thanks Stacey. i love your videos – so easy to follow. I started playing with lists a few weeks ago, but this has given me a few more ideas.
Thanks so much, Michelle. They can be a powerful tool, that is for sure!
Great tips Stacey! I have a number of Twitter lists – for various interests of mine, a list of social media gurus, and several lists for different groups I participate in. They’re so helpful!
They are very useful indeed. I wish I knew about them when I first started on Twitter – it would have saved a lot of cleaning up later.
Love this. I was very late to start using Twitter lists and it really takes care of all the noise on Twitter. I didn’t know that someone is notified if you put them on a list. Are they notified if you remove them?
Thanks!
Thanks to you I’ve started my twitter lists to keep things more organized. Thanks!
They can make a big difference, that is for sure!
Thanks Stacey you video is no doubt simple to understand. Have you implemented twitter card for your website? If yes I would like to request you for that video too.
