How to Use YouTube Playlists and Annotations

Playlists are a great way to organise videos on YouTube. Playlists give viewers what is called a Lean Back experience – as you are able to just lean back and watch video, after video, after video without having to click on anything.  You can create playlists with your own videos and also with other people's videos.  The other great feature is that you can start and stop a video wherever you like.  So, if there is a minute or two that you really like from a longer video you can set it to only play that part of the video before moving onto the next video in the playlist.

You can use annotations on your videos to increase engagement and subscribers. As the video is playing, viewers can click on links that show up in the videos to either go to a page on your website, your Facebook page, another video or to subscribe to your channel.

In this video I walk you through how to use playlists and how to add annotations to your videos.

I would love to hear how you are using playlists in YouTube.
