List Building and Email Marketing

ActiveCampaign is my email management system of choice.  It is reasonably priced and does everything you would want it to do and much, much more!

Hosting

Customer service is very important when it comes to hosting and Mom Webs is the best. They have helped me work through a lot of different situations and answered many a stupid question on my part.

Page Builders

All of the pages on my website are built with Thrive. I like it a lot and it is really easy to use. There are 2 ways to purchase Thrive.  You can get the page builder for one payment of $67 or you can get the whole suite of products (this includes lead boxes, ways to make quizzes, countdown timers, etc) for $228 for the year. The second option is the one I do as it has so many options available in it. When you are just starting out the one of payment for the page builder is a good option.

Elementor is another page builder option.  It is also easy to use. There is a free version which will get you started or you can get the premium version for a yearly price.

WordPress Plugins

Social Warfare adds beautiful, lightning-fast social share buttons to your website or blog. This plugin is especially great for helping people to share your content on Pinterest.  You can add, in the back end, images of different sizes so that when they get shared onto the platforms they are the right size.

Pretty Links is a link management tool. It allows you to shorten, redirect and keep track of links on your own domain.  What that means it that the beginning of the link is your domain name.

Payment Processors

I use Amember as my shopping cart. It integrates with Paypal and easily connects to ActiveCampaign and other email providers. There is a WordPress plugin which makes working between them as seamless as I can protect content on my site and only allow people that have paid to access it. I also use it to manage my affiliate program. It is really robust for tracking and managing your affiliates.

All you really need to get started in a PayPal link. Most people have a PayPal account so it makes taking payments easy and for those that don't have a PayPal account they can pay with a card.

Making things look good - Graphics

Upload any web page, MS Word, Video, Podcast or YouTube and it will create a stunning ebook and convert it to pdf, epub, Kindle or Flipbook.

I love Canva! It is great for people with graphic skills of any level. I even have a course (Get Creative with Canva) if you would like to learn more about how to use it to make amazing looking graphics.

Audio and Video Tools

I use Zoom for calls with my clients, doing FB lives and if I want to record myself or my screen.

Create your own marketing and social media videos with Wave.video, free online video maker. Easily make videos for your blog, video ads, and much more.

Filmora is fantastic for video editing. I also have Camtasia but I am using Filmora more and more often.

Scheduling Software

Calendly is my system of choice for scheduling calls. It is super simple to use and saves on the going back an forward with someone trying to schedule a time that works for everyone.

Some of these links are affiliate links. These are the exact tools I use in my business.
